We are looking for a Director of National Accounts to retain and profitably grow assigned national accounts with potential of greater than $100,000 in annual spend. Develop relationships to drive continued sales growth, customer focus on company sales initiatives, and to ensure AllPoints becomes one of the client’s primary providers for replacement parts and services.
The AllPoints National Account Manager’s (NAM) top priority is to grow a profitable portfolio of strategic accounts by thoroughly understanding the clients’ organization, goals & objectives and executing plans that position AllPoints as a partner of choice. In addition, the NAM is responsible for the strategic engagement of said accounts including program development & implementation, contract negotiations, pricing management, business reviews, and coordinating customer interactions with assigned Inside Sales Support team members. The success of this role is based on revenue growth and margin enhancement.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Profitably grow and maintain assigned accounts through program development and implementation.
Responsible for the development & achievement of forecasted sales growth
Attain an in-depth knowledge & understanding of assigned clients’ organizational structure, goals, objectives and strategic plans
Develop and implement client specific value-added programs and action plans that aligns to the client’s business objectives and our company strategy
Facilitate customer engagement via email, phone and face-to-face meetings at corporate & site locations
Effective time management, prioritizing and multi-tasking to achieve both tactical and strategic goals.
Represent AllPoints at various industry trade shows and events as needed
Scheduling and executing on-site dealer sales trainings
Develop effective in-depth relationships within our organization, clients and partners/suppliers.
Utilize salesforce.com CRM to manage pipeline opportunities and sales activities
Required Qualifications:
Communication skills - Ability to actively listen and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication across multiple levels of an organization ranging from 1-on-1s to executive presentations.
Analytical skills – Confidence with assessing data and information to gain insight for analysis and problem solving. Good knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Salesforce.com
Selling skills – Strategic and complex selling, negotiation skills, tact and diplomacy. Ability to identify and act on opportunities to grow client accounts. Ability to persuade with and without authority.
