Title: Director of Marketing

Location: Remote, but located in Eastern or Central Time Zone

Compensation: $160,000 - $200,000, plus 20% annual bonus

Reports to: CEO


Korn Ferry is working with a global software provider who optimizes and rethinks digital identity verification to help their clients improve both their marketing and fraud detection initiatives. Our client works with some of the largest consumer and business companies in the world and is looking for a proven B2B software Marketing Leader to oversee all aspects of the marketing team, review and redefine the marketing strategy and help bring the company to the next level of revenue and growth.


Objectives:

  • Lead and mentor a team of 6-7 across multiple marketing disciplines including Demand Generation, Public Relations, Social Media, Partner Marketing, ABM and Content.
  • Act as both a leader and active participant to ensure the execution of a global strategy that drives sustained success.
  • Evaluate current marketing trends to assess the effectiveness of various selling and positioning strategies for our software.
  • Utilize data-driven analysis of sales figures and marketing budgets to determine profit margins and identify the most successful campaigns.
  • Conduct competitive research to remain informed about market trends and ensure our products stay ahead of the curve.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to develop effective strategies and campaigns that attract new customers and retain existing clients.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Senior Leadership Team to make high-level decisions on budget allocation and company direction.
  • Establish and maintain a compelling brand image that attracts clients.
  • Identify short- and long-term resource and scheduling needs, including the development and management of annual marketing budgets, profit-and-loss projections, and expenditures.
  • Analyze key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analysis, campaign results, and consumer trends, and translate these insights into actionable strategies for the marketing team.

  • Skilled in using Hubspot, advertising platforms, design, and public relations.
  • Successful track record in a senior marketing role and campaign development.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
  • Extensive experience in digital marketing, content marketing, public relations, and social media marketing.
  • Proven expertise in budget planning and management.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications.
  • Established network of media and PR contacts.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth through continuous education.
