We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Marketing Analytics and Customer Insights to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our marketing leadership, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making, uncovering & providing actionable insights, and optimizing our marketing strategies to enhance customer engagement and drive growth. The Director of Marketing Analytics & Customer Insights delivers enhanced analytical insights and actions; and as needed, manages and roadmaps data projects that improve the Hanna Andersson business, including, but not limited to customer acquisition and retention outcomes and marketing profitability. This position leads Hanna Andersson’s analytics team and how to drive incremental growth and understanding our users’ online shopping behavior at Hanna Andersson. Strong communication skills are essential, both in terms of graphically reporting data, insights and implications with actionable data; as well as for forming strong partnerships with senior leaders to ensure the work is driving business results.

Primary Duties (Identified Essential Functions)

  • Lead with strong leadership and subject matter expertise across four key domains:
  • E-commerce & channel activations
  • Quantitative reasoning, experimentation, and measurement
  • MarTech data strategy and management to deliver value from disparate sources, including the ability to self-serve data or partner with technology teams and partners to deliver data needs
  • Analytics consulting services to deliver insights & actions aligned with business objectives across Hanna Andersson.
  • Manage a team to own marketing reporting, analytics, and actionable insights that deliver across teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders (and others as needed) to quickly diagnose, prioritize, and scope analytics needs that will deliver actionable insights and optimization into Hanna’s marketing efforts.
  • Lead the development and expansion of end-to-end marketing campaign reporting to deliver insights and optimizations to internal stakeholders.
  • Drive interpretation, socialization, and adoption of operational marketing reports that fuel channel growth and business needs.
  • Quantify the impact of major marketing initiatives and communicate findings to key stakeholders and partner on potential next best actions.
  • Maintain weekly and monthly customer scorecards and response baselines that provide actionable insights.
  • Utilize any/all existing data and tools to train segmentation models to find high-value segments relative behavior, sharing segments with digital marketing teams for activation through our CDP (or other marketing tools) and/or other activation channels.
  • Develop and implement a customer segmentation framework inclusive of our business model to unite top- and bottom-line activities as well as translating strategy into actionable tactics.
  • Partner with analytics engineers to define and maintain the data architecture necessary for analytics and algorithmic development.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in marketing analytics, customer insights, or a related field, preferably in a DTC, eCommerce, or retail environment.
  • Proven track record of leading analytics initiatives and driving business results through data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically and creatively to solve complex business problems.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and mentor a team.

This listed base salary range is a good faith representation of the base salary range for this position. However, location, unique skills and/or exceptional experience may result in an offer outside of the stated range.
