Director of Manufacturing
Job Description
- minimum of ten years experience in manufacturing engineering (industrial, automation, mechanical design, etc)
- knowledgable of Root Cause, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc to identify and improve manufacturing processes
- comfortable using computers and various programs (ERP, PM, CAD, Solid Works, etc)
- expert knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems including current technology
- ability to lead internal teams as well as outside vendors (manufacturing, maintenance, facilities, etc)
- vast experience with capital planning, ROI generation, contract negotiations, etc
- ability to prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
- comfortable identifying, analyzing, planning, overseeing, and implementing manufacturing productivity and safety
- experienced collaborating on new products to determine space, equipment, etc for manufacturing
- strong safety-focused leadership, interpersonal, and coaching skills
