The Director of Interprofessional Education (IPE) is a 0.20 to 0.40 FTE position under the Vice Chancellor of Health Affairs charged with overseeing the operation, growth, and development of the interprofessional education programs on campus. Responsibilities of the position are listed below.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
The hiring rate for this position will be 20 to 40% of current salary.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.

- Interface with Deans and Program Directors of participating programs and potential future participants as well as other campus partners such as Anschutz Student Affairs, Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusions and Community Engagement, and Strauss Health Sciences Library
- Oversight of grant applications, administration, budgets and internal and external reporting
- Represent IPE program to both internal and external stakeholders and negotiate with internal stakeholders for new and continuing programs.
- Chair IPE Council and Team and associated program meetings
- Ensure IPE program components meet accreditation needs of contributing programs
- Oversight of strategic planning and ensuring program maintains fidelity with mission and vision.

- Terminal or clinical practice level degree in a health profession that participates in IPE from an accredited university, or a PhD or EdD degree from an accredited university with experience in a health profession
- Current faculty member at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus
- Health professions education experience
- 1-3 years of experience working in an interprofessional clinical or education setting
- Demonstrated education leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience with public speaking to internal and external audiences
- Demonstrated experience with presenting research and published work
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution and external stakeholders
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Demonstrated commitment and leadership ability to advance diversity and inclusion.
