They are looking for a Director of Software Engineering with a strong focus on .NET technologies to join their team.
Role Description:
As the Director of Software Engineering, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of our payment solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Your role will involve hands-on coding, architectural decision-making, and team mentorship. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of software products, ensuring they are scalable, resilient, and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Ownership: Lead the engineering team in developing robust .NET and Java solutions. Oversee the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment.
Architecture and Development: Design scalable and resilient software architectures.
Team Enablement: Mentor and guide engineers, fostering continuous improvement. Collaborate with product managers to align on business goals.
Technical Expertise:
Extensive experience in .NET development, with a solid understanding of C# and the .NET framework.
Proficiency in Java as a secondary language/skill.
Proven track record in designing and developing scalable, resilient enterprise solutions.
Deep understanding of microservices architecture and domain-driven design principles.
Experience with cloud-native solutions and cloud infrastructure, particularly with Azure or AWS.
Familiarity with migrating legacy systems to modern architectures and evergreen .NET solutions.
