Director of Demand Planning/Forecasting

We are seeking an experienced and driven Director of Demand Planning/Forecasting to join our team. We are the leading provider of packaging and supplies, with a rich history spanning several decades! The ideal candidate will lead a team to ensure accurate stock levels in accordance with production, purchasing and inventory needs. They will be responsible for driving cost savings and manage the development of price and volume strategies.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing and demand planning operations. You will develop, analyze and set strategies related to pricing and volume, and ensure the accurate forecasting of SKUs. You will negotiate and order inventory, ensuring minimum order quantities and maximum cost savings. Ensure POs are generated/ managed through standard process and ERP is properly updated to reflect purchasing activity.

What You Need for this Position

• Minimum of 5 years in a demand planning role.
• Extensive background in Forecasting and love it!
• 5+ years managing a team
• Experience negotiating with vendors/working on contracts/non-contractual agreements
• Advanced Excel skills (Analytical focus)
• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Admin, Marketing, OR related field.
