About SkinnyDipped

Located in Seattle Washington, SkinnyDipped was founded by a mom and daughter and her two best friends after realizing that nothing is more important than time spent with the ones you love. Starting out of their Seattle kitchen, the four women created Skinny Dipped: thinly dipped chocolate almonds that are exceptionally good-for-you and ridiculously delicious. Position Description

We’re seeking a highly creative and experienced out-of-the-box thinker to drive disruptive and creative marketing for SkinnyDipped. This role sits at the intersection of storytelling and community activation, with a focus on content and experiences that drive brand awareness, relevance, and engagement. You will be the idea generator and driving force behind disruptive campaigns through brand partnerships, PR, social media, and IRL activations. Our ideal candidate likes to dream big, think creatively and strategically on a tighter budget while being willing to get their hands dirty and execute on plans.


Position Responsibilities

This job is all about breaking through the noise and engaging our SkinnyDipped super fans in creative ways while driving brand buzz. Follow no rule book in creating new and interesting ways to bring SkinnyDipped to life and go deep into our target markets to connect with consumers and create evangelists for the brand. You will generate and lead a disruptive, creative strategy for:

  • Activating Brand Evangelists: Find creative ways to foster and activate our organic community
  • Innovative Brand Initiatives: Bring disruptive and unique ideas to life across the brand from mailers, sampling, and campaigns to investor activations. Encourage the team to think big within a smaller budget.
  • Partnerships: Oversee creative collaborations with like-minded and complementary brands and celebrity investors
  • PR: Lead PR strategy + execution and work in tandem with outside PR partners to drive buzz and awareness
  • Social Media: In conjunction with internal team and freelance partners, contribute to the development of a comprehensive social media plan that supports the above initiatives, is relevant to pop culture, and builds engagement and an authentic connection with our consumers
  • Out of Home/Campaign: Lead the creative strategy and execution for OOH initiatives to amplify brand visibility and connect with audiences in the real world
  • Experiential and IRL Activations: Work in collaboration with the team to dream up and execute on disruptive ways for SkinnyDipped to show up in the world. Connect with consumers in a memorable and genuine way.


Education/Experience/Skills

  • 6-8 years of marketing experience at disruptive beauty/lifestyle/fashion brand
  • Experience working at a creative agency
  • Strong track record of being a forward-thinking marketer, bringing brands to life through innovative campaigns, activations, partnerships, and social + traditional media
  • Intrinsic understanding of the evolving dynamic between traditional and social media
  • Be ahead of the curve for trending brands, events, celebrities, etc.
  • Passion for brand building
  • Not afraid to dream big and think outside the box
