Audit Manager responsible for planning, managing, and conducting financial, operational, compliance, and other technical/operational audits throughout the global HAVI. Position currently has one direct report performing global IT audits, as well as often partners with outsourced auditors from Big 4 and other known large multi-national audit firms.

  • Qualification, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting
  • At least 2-4 Years experience with Big 4 accounting firms
  • CPA preferred or other advance degrees in the field of Finance or Business

Knowledge & Years Of Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in audit (preferably within a Big4) or internal audit in an international environment
  • Skills:
  • Fluent English
  • Knowledge of other languages would be an asset
  • Effective oral and written communications skills
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. running queries, reports, ease of navigation) and BI Tools
  • Data analytical thinking as well as an independent style of working
  • Strong skills in Microsoft products, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of international accounting standards (US GAAP or IFRS)
  • Other Abilities:
  • Team player – holds Business Partnering value as a key to success
  • Continuous improvement mind-set
  • Ability to travel Internationally up to 50% of the time with engagements usually lasting 2 weeks
  • Primary Accountabilities / Position’s Scopes & Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute and lead audit projects, including financial, operational, IT and compliance engagements and other value adding/consulting projects across all business units of the HAVI Group
  • Contribute to the development of the audit department and the organization itself through automation and efficiency initiatives
  • Draft audit observations, recommendations, and reports for all levels of management (in English) and communicate the audit results
  • Explore enhancements to data analytics and auditing tools
  • Follow-up on historic audit observations and the remediation process to ensure timely closure/resolutions
  • Develop into an expert and business partner on governance, risk, and compliance matters
  • Work on ad-hoc projects and strategic initiatives for senior management
  • Manage and develop team members
