SUMMARY

We are searching for a Director, FP&A, to join the FP&A team in a rapidly growing MedTech company. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, the Director role will be highly visible as he/she will support and partner directly with several VPs across the organization.

PROCEPT BioRobotics is a rapidly growing company, and the Director, FP&A will provide strategic guidance on improving or implementing new processes. To be successful, you should be versatile, have strong communication skills, and be able to work and adapt in a fluid, fast-paced environment.

• Lead the annual OPEX budgeting process, collaborating with department heads and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and financial targets
• Drive the monthly and quarterly forecasting processes, and analyzing performance against targets and metrics
• Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning for OPEX and revenue
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders
• Conduct variance analysis to explain deviations from budget and forecasted results, and provide actionable recommendations
• Evaluate capital investment opportunities, including ROI analysis and scenario modeling
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, systems, and tools
• Assist in the preparation of presentations for board meetings, investor presentations, and other strategic initiatives
• Lead and mentor a team of Senior Finance Manager and financial analysts, fostering their professional development and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial information
• Maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance
• Understand and adhere to the PROCEPT BioRobotics’ Quality & EHS policies
  

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. • 15+ years of strong, foundational experience in cost accounting, forecasting, and planning
• Exceptional business partner and communication skills; naturally curious & passionate about learning the products and services
• Deep analytical expertise with exposure to various systems. Proficiency in Adaptive is desired
• Requires strong financial modeling of business cases and R&D portfolio management
• Outstanding leadership and influencing skills
• B.S. in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA desired

For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $188,000-259,000 a year.

PAY RANGE TRANSPARENCY

Procept is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Procept utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

We’ll provide you training for, and ask you to maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance.
