The Role:

Coterie is looking for a Director, FP&A who will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy, decision-making, and planning for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles in a consumer subscription business and be able to develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's ambitious growth goals.

Requirements

You Will:

  • Own the forecasting process at Coterie and utilize data to improve visibility into performance
  • Work closely with Coterie's executive team to identify and quantify trends, risks, and opportunities within the business to support strategic planning initiatives
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across product, marketing, supply chain, and analytics teams to accelerate customer acquisition and marketing effectiveness
  • Manage and oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
  • Partner with various teams across the organization to understand and communicate month-end variances to plan for financial close reporting
  • Build and lead a high performing team responsible for ensuring Coterie continues to grow and scale efficiently
  • Play a pivotal role to improve, automate, and scale the finance function, reporting tools, processes and methodologies
  • Communicate financial performance to existing and potential future investors
  • Be part of a fast-paced, dynamic, and driven team that is constantly evolving to drive change

You Have:

  • 10+ years of strategic finance experience (corporate finance, private equity, or investment banking) including FP&A leadership at a well-established consumer brand or high-growth technology startup or company
  • Experience with consumer subscription and/or logistics strongly preferred
  • Ability to leverage your expertise in customer acquisition strategies, LTV frameworks, and payback models to maximize ROI
  • Track record of successfully managing budgets at the corporate level including annual and quarterly planning processes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of balancing competing priorities and interfacing with senior leadership as well as investors
  • Able to collaborate with cross-functional partners at all levels in a fast-paced environment, leveraging your ability to influence and drive decision making
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and using financial software such as Adaptive and NetSuite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to distill complex ideas into actionable recommendations and communicate financial concepts to non-finance professionals
  • Brilliant communication and stakeholder management capabilities and a leader who continually pushes the boundary to bring increasing value to our business as well as our customers
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field, MBA strongly preferred

The expected salary for this role is $180,000 - $231,000 depending on a number of factors including job, level, experience and skill set.
