Title: Director of Biomedical Engineering

Duration: Perm!

Location: HYBRID in Kirkland, WA

Salary: $120-185K

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

Must Haves:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Clinical Engineering or equivalent combination of education or experience
2. 5 years of management experience in a related field with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and facilitate multidisciplinary groups.
3. 7 years of experience in the biomedical engineering service industry
4. Solid project management skills and adherence to project management methodologies.

Responsibilities:

1. Develops the strategic plan for Biomedical Engineering services. Increases organizational awareness of biomedical engineering services and the operational efficiencies and financial benefits of using internal biomedical engineering services.
2. Develops and implements consistent policies and procedures that guide and support the functions of the Biomedical Engineering department.
3. Reviews and assesses all strategic capital requests for biomedical equipment and work with executive leadership to determine necessity and prioritization of capital requests.
4. Determines proper staffing levels to provide equipment support services across our supported sites. Assign technicians to sites based on preventive and corrective maintenance workloads.
5. Reviews staff productivity and efficiency data. Identify areas where improvements can be made to maximize staffing resources.
