THE OPPORTUNITY 


Adscend Media is looking for a Digital Sales Representative to help drive the execution of our strategic vision. This role requires significant sales experience with performance-based marketing, excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of contract negotiation, and the ability to work well in a team environment to help drive revenue growth by closing leads and onboarding prospective partners across various segments of Adscend’s business.

 

The ideal candidate for this role is a highly engaged self-starter, has a strong understanding of the performance marketing industry, is a fast learner, and is able to make adjustments and shift focus where needed in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Partnerships, you will collaborate with our account management and compliance departments, and you will be focused on prospecting, qualifying, nurturing, and ultimately closing prospective partners. The ideal candidate has a history of achieving/exceeding personal & company goals, being a team player, and has demonstrated an ability to consistently grow revenue utilizing their skills and hard work.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING


As the Digital Sales Representative for Adscend Media, communication, execution, industry knowledge, and work ethic will play a large role in the day-to-day responsibilities. In the role you will be accountable for, but not limited to, the following:


  • Clear communication to the Director of Strategic Partnerships and external/internal partners, adapting communication style as appropriate to influence positive outcomes.
  • Prospecting, qualifying, closing, and onboarding of publishers, advertisers, content creators and direct video/display ad buyers.
  • Contract/Insertion Order negotiations, ensuring that the company is protected and generating the best deals possible.
  • Identifying companies NOT to work with, as well as you identify companies to work with. 


 

 YOUR QUALIFICATIONS


  • Minimum 3 years of advertising technology, performance advertising, and/or branded advertising experience 
  • Experience with Rewarded/Incentivized Advertising is required.
  • Experience with performance-based ads, branded advertising and/or market research is required.
  • Adept understanding of the advertising industry at large and ability to convey that knowledge to others. 
  • Competitive ‘winning’ mentality. 
  •  Unquestionable integrity and strong personal character. Operates with the highest levels of moral and ethical behavior.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrates emotional intelligence, and problem solving skills 
  • Demonstrates commitment to the company’s mission and values
  • Willing to do whatever it takes, including ability to travel and work extended hours during key phases in the company as needed.
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to prioritize projects/tasks simultaneously and to completion.
  • Eager to learn new systems & technologies.
  • A can-do attitude to provide energy, drive and enthusiasm



Compensation:


$75k-100k base range commensurate with experience and location, plus competitive bonus structure based on performance.
