As our Digital Content Intern , you'll spend the 2024-2025 NBA Season supporting our digital team by crafting and sharing content, promoting team and other events in our venues and helping reach our fans with live event coverage.

As our Digital Content Intern , you'll spend the 2024-2025 NBA Season supporting our digital team by crafting and sharing content, promoting team and other events in our venues and helping reach our fans with live event coverage.
About the Internship:
- Internship Duration: August 2024 to April 2025, with the potential for an extension.
- Part-time commitment: Expect to work an average of 28 hours per week.
- Location: Portland, Oregon; this is an on-site role, not remote.
- Industry: Dive into the dynamic world of Sports & Entertainment, gaining exclusive behind-the-scenes insights into what it truly means to be part of the team behind the team.
- Assist in content creation and game night production for Trail Blazers social media platforms and website.
- Contribute to the team’s presence and ideation on emerging social media platforms and features.
- Assist in crafting content for Rose Quarter events and Blazer5 Gaming.
- Assist with ideation and planning for team campaigns and events.
- Attend Trail Blazers games, concerts and events as assigned.
- Provide general support to the Content team and organization as needed.
- Are at least 18 years of age.
- Can follow verbal and written direction, understand and communicate in conversational English, and understand professional communication.
- Understanding and curiosity about sports, entertainment, and music.
- Have strong writing and communications skills.
- Understanding social media channels and are informed about trends and the changing landscape.
- Demonstrate the ability to work optimally as a team with people of a diverse set of backgrounds and abilities.
- Can prioritize, manage multiple projects and deadlines, and stay organized with an attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Can perform the duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Maintain a high-level of confidentiality and exercise discretion when working with sensitive or proprietary information.
- Are available to work a flexible schedule, which could include office hours, Trail Blazers home games, and evening/weekend responsibilities.
