DEVT300: Marketing Research Team Lead
This is a pro-bono volunteer position.
- Analyze the corporate landscape to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges. Uses data-driven methods to understand corporate behavior, philanthropic interests, and engagement preferences.
- Develop and implement surveys to gather insights from corporations and other stakeholders. Ensures that surveys are methodologically sound and align with organizational goals.
- Gather information through various research methods, including interviews, focus groups, and secondary research. Interprets data to draw meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
- Work closely with the marketing team to translate research findings into effective marketing strategies. Ensures alignment between research insights and marketing initiatives.
- Present research findings to internal stakeholders, including executives and team members, in a clear and compelling manner. Creates visual and written reports to support decision-making.
- Genuine concern about/interest in solving the STEM education gender gap
- Proven experience in marketing research, preferably in a nonprofit or corporate partnership environment
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with an ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings to diverse audiences
- Resourceful, can-do attitude
- Experience leading a function (i.e. team, department manager, etc) and managing others
- Comfort working in a ‘virtual organization’ with digital tools (G-Suite, Slack, Jira, salesforce)
- Would be a plus if candidate has flexible schedule to allow for ad hoc calls during the work week
