Development/ Fundraising Intern

The Family Resource Networking is seeking a qualified Development/Fundraising Intern for immediate hire 2024 to work within and contribute to our Development team. You will have support from the Special Events Manager to meet your internship goals and support the organization.
The title of this position is Intern, but you will truly be part of the team working side-by-side with other members of the Development team. You will assist in preparation and implementation of 2024 Special Events by securing sponsorships and donations for each event, research and assist with new sponsor leads and grant applications, draft acknowledge letters in response to donations, assist Special Events Manager day of event and other ad hoc fundraising/event planning duties to gain practical on the job experience.
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
We want bright, motivated Accounting or Finance majors who are eager to learn and ready to work hard. Solid analytical skills, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and creativity are essential to success. Microsoft Excel competence is required.
