Job Description

Eataly is hiring a Design & Construction Intern for Summer 2024 to work with and learn from Eataly’s Design & Construction Team. This internship is a unique opportunity for hands-on, professional experience with a fun and dynamic team. Get a taste of what life is like as an Eatalian!

With the guidance of the Director and Specialist of Construction, the intern will:

  • Learn about Eataly’s strategies, systems, processes, and tools within Design & Construction’s team
  • Assist in executing a new project management platform, Procure, and transferring crucial and confidential documents
  • Monitor the documents in Eataly’s previous project platform and file them appropriately into the new system
  • Adapt new techniques and new training on rolling out the new system within the Design & Construction Team
  • Design and create a final presentation by creating an SOP on how processes work together in Procure and what advantages/disadvantages Eataly could face with it
  • Organize, label, and update documents regarding Eataly’s construction and infrastructure
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned


This internship runs from June - August. The internship is onsite at Eataly’s corporate offices in Manhattan, NY. The intern will be scheduled per week, Monday – Thursday from approximately 9 am – 6 pm. Internships at Eataly are paid an hourly rate. Housing and transportation costs are the responsibility of the intern.

Qualifications

  • Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree, preferably with an interest in construction, real estate, and/or project management
  • Exceptional communication skills, along with administrative work
  • Basic knowledge of excel and PowerPoint
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to take direction and work independently


The compensation for this role is $16 per hour
