Title: Data Scientist- Remote

Location: Remote

Duration: 12 Months

Description

These are must haves:

• Experience in creating physical and logical data model
• Advanced working knowledge of modern toolsets and databases such as Tableau, BigQuery, SQL, Python, Javascript, or Grafana
• Experience extracting data from tools such as JIRA, GitHub, test management tools, Jama, and Planview
  
  

Responsibilities

• They perform analysis, and AI machine learning, and this is a software RNDT team
• 3 items for a strong candidate- person's ability to program in SQL, program in Python, if they have tableau exp (a plus), also data modeling, they have to grab the data, they go with scripting languages like Python that are usually used in Client, some are using R,
  
  

Skills

• soft skills- leadership, investigation skills,
• tableau- graphing package, that would display charts in the graph, line charts, pie charts,
  
  

Experience And Role

• Team- 7 5 people- software developers, test engineers.
• Products they serve is external products- G6, G7, Dello, D1 and D1+
• They use the analysis that comes out from the team, the role will interface with many different groups, other people outside the team as well,
• California candidate is preferred but out of the CA candidate is also okay but the strong one,
• Looking for an overall 8-10 exp person with all skillsets
• Industry exp is a plus but not required
  
  

Education

• Degree- or certification- MS or Postgraduate but not required, BS would be okay.
  
  

Keywords- data modeling, SQL, Python, R, tableau, the keywords for an ideal candidate they would like to see in a resume

Interview-

• Would start ASAP when they have strong candidates, 3 to 4 days may be
• panel interview with the team would check on SQL, python, and data modeling skills, 2 rounds, with George and then the team as well
• technical interview- no
• interviews possibly could be scheduled by April 1st
