The Role
This role will be a part of the Data Science team at Ampcontrol and have a Data Scientist as a mentor throughout the entire internship. You will own your own project to be completed by the end of the internship. The goal is to develop an ‘observer' module that analyzes patterns at live sites in production in order to identify interesting scenarios for our testing environment.

The Role

- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the project's objectives, requirements, and constraints
- Perform exploratory data analysis to gain insights and identify patterns
- Collaborate with team members to develop and evaluate effective scenario clustering algorithms
- Successfully integrate model within the designated environment and demonstrate functionality and application to team members

Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques
- Familiarity with energy systems and testing procedures is a plus
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Must be self-motivated and eager to learn
