Our Client is seeking a full-time candidate to work supporting the Data Strategy and Governance group of the Postal Service’s Data and Analytics Office. In this role, the candidate will need to work on technical efforts related to DataBricks, Unity Catalog, and Cloud Sourcing for governance. Additionally, the candidate will need to support implementation of data governance architecture and strategy. As the Postal service’s technology continues to evolve, and our approach to data governance continues to mature the candidate would also need to be comfortable in fast moving work environment that requires learning of new tools, and an ability to learn integration of new technologies.
Description
Works in a data warehouse environment that includes data design, database architecture, and metadata and repository creation. Reviews data loaded into the data warehouse for accuracy. Responsible for the development, maintenance and support of an enterprise data warehouse system and corresponding data marts. Troubleshoots and tunes existing data warehouse applications. Conducts research into new data warehouse applications and determines viability for adoption. Assists in establishing development standards. Evaluates existing subject areas stored in the data warehouse. Incorporated existing subject areas into an enterprise model. Creates new or enhanced components of the data warehouse.
