Title: Data Architect

Position: Contract

PRIMARY LOCATION: New York (Onsite Role) -- Only for W2

Visa: Only for Citizen, Green Card (OPT Visa Not Allowed)

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree

Required Skills

  • Designs scalable and performant data pipelines to meet specific data processing needs.
  • Designs and develops secure data and software solutions.
  • Provides knowledge and experience with data encoding mechanisms and effective transportation schemes to architecture and designs.
  • Evangelizes new data technologies with development team, peers, and management.
  • Presents DI/ES interests to senior executives and senior technologists
  • Collaborates with internal and external business partners to clarify system requirements and business processes.
  • Codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions.
  • Mentors junior developers by reviewing designs, coding and testing.
  • Provides expertise with big data solutions like Hadoop, Presto, Hive.
  • Provides expertise with no-sql solutions like Cassandra, ElasticSearch, DynamoDB.
  • Provides expertise with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their data solutions.
  • Provides expertise with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Education Required: At least a Bachelors' degree in a discipline related to Computer Science, Information Systems.
  • Specialist Qualifications: Will hold further qualifications/certifications across a number of specialist disciplines relevant to role.
