Customer Success Consultant, Healthcare Performance Improvement


Avant-garde Health is seeking a Customer Success Consultant in Healthcare Performance Improvement to join our dynamic team. As a Consultant, you will collaborate closely with hospital executives and clinicians, utilizing our cutting-edge technology and data analytics to identify opportunities for enhancing care processes, reducing costs, and improving outcomes. While not required, we especially encourage candidates with backgrounds as healthcare provider management consultants, quality improvement leaders, hospital operations directors, or industrial engineers to apply. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about bringing their unique perspectives and expertise to drive impactful change within our client hospitals. Your role will be pivotal in fostering long-term relationships with our clients, serving as a trusted partner in their journey towards delivering higher quality, more cost-effective healthcare.


Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Avant-garde's analytics platform to uncover client-specific insights and opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Collaborate with nurses, perioperative directors, and clinical administrative leaders to develop action plans based on identified opportunities.
  • Present compelling insights and recommendations to client stakeholders, including physicians, motivating them to take action.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with multiple stakeholders within client organizations, serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Participate in new client onboarding and training sessions.
  • Monitor client engagement and track key metrics to measure value creation.
  • Drive client growth by extending solutions into new locations or clinical specialties.
  • Contribute to building a learning community among Avant-garde's client base through webinars and discussions.
  • Individual contributor role.
  • Hybrid location (40% office / 60% remote).
  • Travel to client sites for in-person meetings with executives, physicians, etc.


Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree required: MBA, MHA, MPH, or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare delivery/operations, management consulting, or related fields.
  • Prior hospital experience with C-level stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using Excel. Tableau, Pivot Tables, etc.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically to client sites as needed (10-15%).
