The Curriculum Advisor plays an integral role in achieving aggressive sales goals by developing and delivering engaging core curriculum sales presentations in competitive situations. This position supports the Sales team, primarily by displaying an unmatched level of professionalism during delivery of sales presentations to district teachers, both in-person and virtually, and engaging in curriculum and product consultation. The Advisor excels at building quick trust with internal and external partners. This role requires significant travel throughout the United States (approximately 75% travel requirement).

Position Type: This is a regular, full-time position.

Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $74,085.00 and $98,000.00 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.

Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote from your home office.

Travel: You can also expect up to approximately 75% seasonal travel, so be sure you have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months.

Envision Your Experience.

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Deliver highly engaging in-person and virtual sales presentations to current and prospective customers to drive revenue.
  • Deliver subject matter expertise in learning, presenting, and providing high-quality sales presentations and product consulting meetings for pre-kindergarten through 12th grade in Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies.
  • Deliver highly engaging in-person and virtual sales presentations to current and prospective customers to drive revenue.
  • Ability to identify customer gaps and expectations and adapt presentations accordingly.
  • Exudes deep curriculum knowledge with the ability to pivot when it comes to pedagogy and platform.
  • Successfully adapts to needs of the district including (but not limited to) curriculum Q&As, creating presales tools, professional learning.
  • Plan strategically with sales representatives to customize presentations for districts/schools.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Travel to school districts, sales meetings, conferences, and promotional events (up to 75% travel requirement).
  • Other duties as required.

Share Your Expertise.

Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Marketing, Communication, or Business and a minimum of 3+ years of sales experience and 5+ years of experience as a classroom teacher; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent presentation skills live and over Zoom.
  • Expertise using MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred.
  • In depth knowledge of technology-based educational resources (i.e., learning management systems and curriculum platforms).
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn our product suite.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the country up to 75%.
