Job Profile
As a Purchasing Manager/Director you will be responsible for sourcing equipment, goods and services and managing vendors. The successful candidate will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spending, search for better deals, and find more profitable suppliers.
You will be developing the Procurement Division, it’s yours to put your name on.
Our company is experiencing a great vertical and horizontal expansion and has planned to start exporting the experience, knowledge, and success of our operations to other locations around the world starting in 2023 and over the course of the next few years. Our targeted destinations will be Washington DC, San Francisco, Miami, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Houston, Chicago, London, Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Dubai, Istanbul, and many others.

The portfolio of brands we own and manage include: TopView Sightseeing, Event Cruises NYC, Liberty Cruise, Bike Rental Central Park, and Attraction Pass. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to our unique business needs
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support to navigate the complexities of our industry
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures in procurement and logistics.
- Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
- Assess, manage, and mitigate risks.
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategies that drive cost savings, process efficiency, and operational excellence.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization and with external suppliers.
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities, with experience managing and developing high-performing procurement teams.

- Working experience with vendor management software.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and contract management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and ideas to diverse audiences.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate future trends, risks, and opportunities in procurement and supply chain management.
- Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or similar certification preferred
- BS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration.
Salary: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
