Corporate Events Planner

Position Summary:

Landsea Homes is seeking a detail-oriented individual with a flair for creativity and passion for delivering exceptional event experiences for the Company. As a Corporate Events Planner, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of corporate events, from conception to completion. You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure that events are in alignment with company culture and brand standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize event details and objectives, execute all related logistics from start to finish.
  • Help to develop event agendas and initiatives along with executive and senior leadership teams. Take the lead on creating project plans/timelines and coordinating details accordingly.
  • Help to manage corporate-sponsored programs and related events such as the Employee Recognition program and awards; other activities such as Leadership Retreats, Management Summits, teambuilding events, field trips, philanthropic efforts, etc.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics for event attendees as needed.
  • Prepare and edit event-related correspondence, itineraries, agendas and other communications to support objectives of the company events.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues promptly.
  • Work with all related internal parties and external vendors on event execution details.
  • Help to develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess impact and gather feedback for future enhancements.
  • Provide executive administrative support to executive and senior leadership teams as needed. This may include managing travel logistics, assisting with meeting preparations, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, hospitality, public relations or related fields is preferred but not required. Certifications in event planning are a plus.
  • A minimum of two years in a similar role is required.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and negotiation.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage time efficiently.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while being flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
  • Team player, able to collaborate with team members and willing to assist others as needed.

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary position. May be required to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office materials and supplies weighing 25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard. This position requires public contact, as such, appropriate business apparel and professional appearance is expected.

Travel Requirements:

This is a full-time position. Travel will be required. A valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance is required at all times.
