Corporate Director of Outpatient Services
The role of the Corproate Director of Outpatient Services is to oversee operations across all locations. This role demands an active clinical license in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on achieving predefined financial and clinical goals with the PHP/IOP Service lines. The Corporate Director of Outpatient Services possess a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care. Position will travel between 50-75% of the time.
Essential Functions:
Educational / Experience Requirements:
Subject to many interruptions. Occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries. This position can be high paced and stressful; must be able to cope mentally and physically to the atmosphere. Work requires spending approximately 90% or more of the time inside a building that offers protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
Essential Functions:
- Referral Management: Assess patterns of timely screening and scheduling of referrals.
- Attendance Oversight: Conduct reviews of patient attendance, follow up on missed sessions, and ensure proactive communication with patients.
- Admissions and Patient Engagement: Oversee the patterns of the admission process, including the completion of psychosocial and psychological evaluations. Assess culture of patient engagement and the strategies used to measure retention. Foster a welcoming environment that encourages patient engagement from the first day.
- Staff Coordination: Assess use of daily meetings with staff to discuss patient referrals, admissions, and overall patient roster status, maintaining a sense of urgency in patient care and operations.
- Achieve outpatient financial targets through group sessions. Work with sites to add additional services lines/revenue to achieve financial goals.
Educational / Experience Requirements:
- Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, or related field with active licensure.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in psychiatric and substance abuse treatment.
- Ability to read, write and follow written and oral instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team, manage multiple locations, and achieve operational goals.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
