Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in all stages of the company's M&A process, providing thorough analytical and due diligence support.
  • Assume responsibility for executing deals by managing tasks such as maintaining deal trackers, coordinating calls, and keeping team members informed.
  • Engage in transaction-related meetings and internal discussions, contributing actively.
  • Assist in creating, refining, and delivering presentations to potential prospects, internal stakeholders, and the board of directors, emphasizing financial analysis and research findings.
  • Prepare presentations highlighting financial analysis outcomes and research findings.
  • Conduct due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation for various live transactions.
  • Identify potential deal-related issues and promptly communicate concerns to team members.
  • Manage communication with sellers, including note-taking during calls, handling incoming emails, and sending follow-up correspondence as necessary.
  • Conduct extensive financial and valuation analyses to assess potential transactions.
  • Proactively address and escalate issues, risks, and action items as they arise.
  • Provide regular status updates to department leadership, stakeholders, and the broader organization.
  • Monitor and update progress across multiple workstreams and projects.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to key stakeholders when required.
  • Evaluate existing systems and processes for potential enhancements and assist in implementing changes, including tracking performance data as needed.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedure (SOP) documents for new and existing processes.
  • Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to measure service performance and assist in preparing board presentations.
  • Fulfill other assigned duties as necessary.
  • Occasional travel may be required for meetings and training sessions.


Required Qualifications:

  • Readiness to occasionally travel nationwide as needed.
  • East Coast candidates highly preferred
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in M&A banking or M&A corporate development is a must have
  • Experience in deals involving brick and mortar locations highly preferred
