As a Copy Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in leading the copywriting team, driving creative excellence, and delivering compelling messaging for our pharmaceutical clients.


Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Copy Supervisor to lead the copywriting team and oversee the development of impactful messaging across a range of advertising materials for our pharmaceutical clients. In this role, you will combine your creative expertise with strategic insights to develop compelling content that effectively communicates key messages and drives engagement with target audiences.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of copywriters, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality copywriting that meets client objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including art directors, account managers, and medical/regulatory experts, to develop creative concepts and campaign strategies that align with client goals and brand guidelines.
  • Oversee the development of compelling copy for various promotional materials, including detail aids, websites, digital banners, emails, social media content, and video scripts, while ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand target audiences, therapeutic areas, and competitive landscape, and leverage insights to inform copywriting strategies and messaging.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and brainstorming sessions, and effectively communicate and defend creative concepts and copywriting choices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a copywriter in a pharmaceutical advertising agency or a related industry, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of copywriting projects across multiple channels, with demonstrated success in developing compelling messaging for pharmaceutical brands.
  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical marketing, healthcare industry trends, and regulatory requirements, including FDA guidelines.
  • Exceptional writing skills with a keen attention to detail, grammar, and accuracy.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, foster collaboration, and drive creative excellence.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
