Contract Project Manager

Job Purpose

At MANA, Project Managers are at the forefront of collaboration across all internal departments, driving our successful launches in the global cosmetics and skincare market. This hybrid role based in vibrant Long Island City, Queens, offers an unparalleled opportunity to drive high-quality projects from conception to market.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Project Oversight: Take the helm in managing the daily progress of assigned client accounts, tracking the development & realization of projects
• Milestone Management: Issue and track project timelines to ensure we meet critical milestones
• Client Engagement: Supervise client communication, appointments, presentations, and sampling. Schedule and host inspections, lab interactions, and visits
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Issue product spec sheets, request price quotes, and partner with Labs on sample requests. Coordinate compatibility requests, fill weights, and line trials with Engineering. Collaborate closely with Regulatory to facilitate necessary documentation
• Team Support: Provide support to fellow project managers, fostering collaboration and offering training as needed to ensure collective success

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum four years of Project Management experience, with a preference for experience in the Cosmetic Industry
• Skills: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, coupled with a driving sense of urgency, effective communication, and proactive problem-solving abilities
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred
