Join a team at one of the nation's premier vegetation management companies as a Contract Manager! This is a brand-new position, offering the chance to shape the future of the company and leave your mark on the growth and success.

Working closely with the Legal Counsel, the Contract Manager will play a pivotal role in the creation, negotiation, and management of our commercial agreements. You'll be at the forefront of ensuring that the contracts are robust, fair, and align with our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Craft, review, and negotiate a diverse range of commercial contracts, including large-scale service agreements, to effectively manage risk and set clear performance expectations.
• Provide expert guidance on business risks associated with contract terms and conditions, presenting strategic options to executive and operational leaders.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with contract terms, both from our clients and within our organization, maintaining meticulous records and documentation.
• Develop and implement cutting-edge systems to track contracts, amendments, and extensions, leveraging data insights to drive improvements in compliance and commercial outcomes.
• Proactively identify and address emerging contract issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to find innovative solutions.
• Liaise with internal and external legal counsel on commercial and compliance matters, ensuring a rigorous and ethical approach to all contractual dealings.

Requirements

• 5+ years of primary responsibility for contract management and reporting.
• Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience in lieu of bachelors’ degree required, with MBA strongly preferred.
• Experience managing contracts with public utilities or electrical cooperatives is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated solid understanding of legal terminology and contract provisions.
• Highly self-motivated with strong communication skills.

Salary Range

• $90K - $110K
