Based in Windsor, CT, Triumph employs approximately 120 personnel. The Company’s key products and services include design, development, manufacture and support of highly engineered mechanical actuation and components for fixed wing and rotary commercial and military aircraft and military systems.

Position

We are looking for a motivated and self-driven Information Technology (IT) Intern (Computer Science Intern) to join our team on-site. The Intern will support our in-house efforts to automate key processes and data analysis using software solutions. The successful candidate will be able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, assist with the implementation of new technologies, and provide training and support to end users.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automated solutions based on business requirements and user specifications
  • Troubleshoot and debug existing automated solutions for web based applications, web components
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and users to define, design, test and deploy user requested enhancements and techinical solutions that meet the needs of the company and its end users.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues
  • Follow established procedures and processes for computer software development
  • Communicate with coworkers on technical and end user issues
  • Research and recommend solutions for technical problems

Qualifications

  • Student (or recent graduate) at accredited university working towards a BS in Computer Science
  • Knowledge of computer systems and software installation
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS, Javascript and Python
  • Familiarity with Tungsten Automation (Kofax RPA) a plus
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to learn quickly and adapt to changing technology
