Summer Journalism/Communications Internship (Remote) - Possibility for Long-Term Part-Time Role!
We're seeking a talented and motivated Journalism major to join our team as a summer communications intern. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of communications – internal and external, with the potential to transition into a long-term part-time role (20-24 hours per week) after the summer – and Fridays off!

About the Role:
As a Journalism/Communications Intern, you'll work closely with our editorial team to produce high-quality content for our platforms, including articles, blog posts, and social media updates. You'll develop your skills, build your portfolio, and make valuable connections in the industry.
How you’ll shape the future of talent:
- Research and develop creative content ideas
- Write and edit engaging articles, blog posts, and other written content
- Conduct interviews and gather information from reliable sources
- Collaborate with the editorial team to brainstorm and execute winning content strategies
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned
- Currently pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field
- Ability to work 4-6 hours/day per work week, Monday-Thursday with Fridays off, US-based remote
- Strong writing and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working independently and collaboratively
- Familiarity with AP style and journalistic principles are a must
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
- Prior experience with journalism
