Job Details

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing appropriate solutions.

Review insurance policies and coverage to ensure clients are adequately protected.

Renew insurance policies in a timely manner, negotiating terms and pricing with insurance carriers.

Process endorsements, certificates of insurance, and other policy documents accurately and efficiently.

Handle client inquiries and claims, providing prompt and effective resolution.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to advise clients accordingly.

Collaborate with underwriters, claims adjusters, and other team members to provide comprehensive service to clients.

Assist in new business development efforts, including prospecting and preparing proposals.

Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or related field (preferred).

Proven experience in commercial insurance, account management, or related field.

Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, policies, and coverages.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Insurance industry certifications (e.g., CPCU, CIC) are a plus.
