We are currently looking for a Clinical Specialist to join our growing field team.


Summary


The primary role of a Clinical Specialist is to provide education and support around the Biote Method. This includes educating and coaching HCP, Sales Team Personnel through in person and digital platforms, focusing primarily on Therapy Line Support, New Provider Certification and Evaluation of Biote Certified Providers. This position will work cross departments and will be a contributor in education, product enhancement and personnel development.


As the Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for the following functions:


  • Provide on-going clinical support utilizing the Biote Method, which may involve candidacy criteria, procedure support, post procedure follow-up, difficult case management, and ongoing education.
  • Serves as primary resource for clinical support in the areas of medical provider questions, provider certification, field support and Clinical Specialist training.
  • Responds to customer needs timely and thoroughly regarding the Biote Method, and medical training by working with other related personnel (e.g., sales, clinical research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions.
  • Assist in the professional education activities sponsored by Biote by educating customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products via presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms.
  • Recognize opportunities to present competitive information to support sales activities in the region.
  • Assist or act as Field Mentor when asked in the training and educational needs of incoming field personnel or support staff.
  • Evaluate, educate, and hold HCPs accountable on the correct use of Biote products in BHRT
  • Assist the Biote medical team, sales force and management team with continuous learning opportunities related to the disease state and procedure protocols for Biote products and services
  • Maintain current Customer Relationship Management (CRM) records
  • Maintain current CRM records
  • Optimize time and efficiency within a large geographic area in order to maximize impact and results
  • Comply with Biote’s code of conduct and policy guidelines
  • Demonstrate in words and actions the values of Biote
  • Other duties as assigned


As the Clinical Specialist, your background should include:


  • Ability to travel extensively 60-80% of the time
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferably in a health field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare field
  • 3-5 years of experience in the medical device industry as a clinical specialist or equivalent
  • Credentialed as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Experience in assisting a physician with BHRT Procedures (preferred)
  • Must demonstrate proven ability to work independently and external to the company for the majority of the time.
