The Chief of Staff to the President is a strategic thinker who will focus on global strategic priorities with the President and drive and execute work aligned with business needs. This individual will work in lockstep with the Senior Leadership team to articulate and execute overall revenue and business strategy across the North America, APAC and EMEA regions.

In addition to being a thought partner to the President, this individual will at times become a delegate on her behalf. The remit includes exciting and varied challenges across strategy, planning, business development, operations and more. In addition, the Chief of Staff will be relied on to monitor industry trends, provide thought leadership and ensure the President is ahead of industry dynamics.

The role requires that this individual owns the planning process for the Media organization as well as communications across the leadership team (which is matrixed). The Chief of Staff will ensure that decisions are made based on thoughtful analysis, that information arrives at the right point across the organization, and that strategic priorities are executed well.

GumGum is looking for a Chief of Staff who is analytical while being able to roll up their sleeves and get the job done. It is paramount that the Chief of Staff be resourceful, a problem solver and collaborative with employees at all levels.

Position reports to President, Michelle Hulst.

What You'll Achieve

• Work with the President to set the company's strategic direction and priorities.
• Conduct and lead data-driven analysis to inform business decisions.
• Manage key projects from start to finish, ensuring they align with company goals and are completed on time.
• Create or validate sales strategies using internal data.
• Lead strategic initiatives within the media team, such as pilot programs for new products.
• Act as a representative for the President in meetings and communications, building strong relationships across the organization.
• Monitor industry trends and proactively develop solutions to optimize effectiveness.
• Draft and maintain high-quality communications and materials, ensuring clarity and alignment with the President’s vision.
• Manage content creation and agendas for key meetings and events, ensuring strategic conversations are informed and accountable.
  
  

Skills You'll Bring

• High IQ with a knack for connecting the dots and a passion for learning.
• BA/BS or equivalent working experience
• 6-8+ years of experience in a fast-paced, high growth environment
• 3-5 years of experience at a top tier management consulting or investment banking firm
• Significant experience influencing and partnering with all levels of an organization.
• Exceptional organizational and planning skills, able to prioritize and manage deadlines.
• Collaborative, team-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Data-driven with a strategic mindset, able to analyze markets and trends.
• Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft or Google Suite.
• Self-starter with a high desire to learn and grow, comfortable influencing all levels of the organization.
  
  

What We Offer

At GumGum, competitive base pay is a part of a total rewards package which also includes benefits, an emphasis on recognition, development, and wellness. The reasonable estimated base pay range for this role is from ($152,000 - $175,000) annually. The actual amount may be higher or lower. Individual compensation will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant qualifications, work location, and labor market conditions.

The total rewards package offered also includes an employer-matched 401(k) retirement plan, and depending on the role, participation in a bonus, commission, or stock incentive program.
