Our client, a physician-owned practice of physiatrists improving patient outcomes in skilled nursing facilities across the country, is hiring a Chief Medical Officer. This role is a remote opportunity with no required clinical component. Strong knowledge of value-based and managed care is required.
Responsibilities
Work with president and chairman on Value Based Care (VBC) strategy Post Acute Care (PAC) centers.
Implement improvement actions relevant to quality metrics.
Ensure quality across PAC centers nationwide.
Provide leadership and ensure excellence for 600 physicians.
Requirements:
MD or DO
Residency training in Internal Medicine (will consider other specialties if there is extensive Post Acute experience)
Prior history of experience as a CMO with demonstrable success
MA payer knowledge-required
Preexisting relationships with post-acute societies strongly preferred.
