Chief Financial Officer (>$1b revenue, pre-IPO, ecommerce)

Client Overview: We are exclusively engaged in a search for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a high growth ecommerce company, which has surpassed $1 billion in annual sales. Well-positioned within a total addressable market set to grow significantly in the coming years, our client is advancing towards an IPO with robust profitability and a leading presence across top ecommerce platforms.

Location: Greater Omaha Area, Nebraska (relocation assistance provided, with no option for remote work).

Role Summary: The CFO will spearhead the finance, accounting, treasury, and legal departments, with a significant focus on managing and optimizing financial operations related to merchandising margins and supply chain. This high-impact position entails leading the company through strategic financial milestones, including an IPO, while nurturing a culture of accountability, efficiency, and growth. Ideal candidate is currently a CFO working in a $500m-$3b revenue business, or a VP Finance in a larger organization (>$3b). The ideal candidate will have experience in retail merchandising, margin management, topline growth initiatives, and supply chain operations financial impacts. As the CFO, you will oversee finance, accounting, treasury, and legal. A proven passion for developing people and teams is a must, and a CPA is preferred. Must relocate to and live within commuting distance.

Candidate Profile:

• Seasoned CFO or VP of Finance with a robust background in ecommerce, particularly with strong expertise in managing financial aspects of merchandising margins and supply chain operations. Amazon or similar preferred.
• Demonstrable experience in steering financial strategies for companies in rapid growth phases, ideally with experience leading up to and through an IPO.
• A track record of building, scaling, and leading large financial teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and strategic development.
• Exceptional financial acumen and analytical skills, with a hands-on approach to driving company-wide financial and operational results.
