Business Intelligence Analyst

The ideal candidate for this position has excellent problem solving and analytical skills and works well both independently and in a team.

Business Intelligence Analyst Job Responsibilities

• Defining, implementing, and scaling systems and processes for delivering business data across the organization
• Manage the production of reports and dashboards to track website and campaign performance, business trends, customer behavior, and other key success indicators for various operating units and management while proposing changes to the current state
• Build tools to automate reporting and generate insights to optimize business strategies
• Provides actionable overall market and customer insights to address key strategic questions
• Use web analytics data to recognize patterns and trends to understand visitor behavior and identify improvement opportunities
• Collect business requirements and ask probing questions to fully understand business needs and how they relate to key performance measurements
• Create, maintain, and interpret dashboards and reports, including long-term trends, campaign and/or page performance, and customer segments
• Optimize current set-up and evaluate top content performance across key initiatives
• Share findings and best practices across departments including customer insight, benchmarking, and industry updates
• Analyzes A/B and Multivariate tests, communicate results and provide recommendations
  
  

Requirements

• MS in Business analytics, Business Administration, or closely related field
• Experience creating dashboards/visualizations using, e.g., Tableau (or similar)
• Proficiency with SQL, and comfort with Python or any other scripting language
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver excellent results
• Strong communication skills, and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  
  

Experience

• Experience with deriving a narrative from data and communicating the results effectively
• Experience in advanced analytic and statistical techniques related multivariate and A/B testing, customer segmentation, and marketing effectiveness
• Experience building and automating management level reporting
• Project management experience is highly desired. Proficient at organizing, managing, and delivering solutions
• 2+ years experience in an analytics role or equivalent experience/training
• UX a plus
