Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager. The BDM will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and expanding our customer base. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the success and growth of our company in the corrugated packaging industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and prioritize target markets, industries, and potential clients for corrugated packaging solutions.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored packaging solutions.
- Proactively prospect and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and other business development activities.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for expansion.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, design, and production, to develop innovative packaging solutions that meet client requirements.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to maximize profitability and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to inform business strategies and decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management roles, within the packaging industry.
- Strong understanding of corrugated packaging products, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.
Willingness to travel as needed.
