The Business Development Executive will be responsible for business development and sales across the packaging and sub-streams of:

• Packaging (Primary & Secondary)

• Turnkey (full service)

The position is responsible for driving revenue generation for the company with key local, regional and international brands. They will also define new customer mapping and targets to “open doors” while expanding and growing existing customers across products/services. The role is responsible to set and meet annual budget for the territory.


• Business Development both within existing territory and with new prospects

• Define customer needs and lead a proactive approach to propose solutions that align with core competencies

• Develop and implement annual sales plans by Customer to achieve set targets sales & revenue objectives

• Collaborate and communicate the Project Management Teams, Local and Global Sourcing Teams, Technical Sales Teams to win and manage sales projects

• Positively represent Meiyume at trade shows and industry events to promote company services and core values

• Regularly meet with clients to build/maintain relationships, negotiate, identify and close deals

• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

• Consistently provide reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities

• Identify and maintain current knowledge of key competitors and present solutions to overcome competitive barriers

• Rationalize time and business development efforts to focus only on customers that fit Meiyume’s customer profile

• Build in-depth, sustainable, long-term customer relationships to deliver short- and long-term growth in sales and revenue

• Understand MEIYUME capabilities and resources, as well as constrains across core categories, to bring customers innovations and value-added solutions.

• Continually support the development of colleagues and promote a strong atmosphere of team work

• Have a proactive approach to uncovering opportunities and executing solutions


  • This position’s primary interfaces are:
  • Internal-Product Development; Technical Engineers; Project Managers; Order Management, Marketing, Finance, Local Supply Chain and Global Supply Chain – engineering, sourcing, quality, sustainability.
  • External-Customers; third party partners; competitors


Education and Experience

• 5 years+ of sales experience in primary packaging for the beauty industry.

• Current selling relationships with a large cross-section of leading beauty brands

• Understanding of key competitors within the beauty packaging industry

• Outstanding negotiating and closing skills

• Strong analytical skills and business acumen

• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field

Preferred Criteria (NICE TO HAVE)

  • Previous Project Management Experience
  • Prestige, masstige and mass
  • Turnkey (packaging + formulation) sales experience
  • Employment type
