Sales Director
The Organisation
SF Executive are working with a leading, Private Equity backed, design and manufacturer that specialises in providing highly technical products to the leisure and entertainment industry. With it’s headquarters in the UK, the organisation has truly global reach with markets across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the US. As this exciting company goes through their next stage of geographical growth, they are looking to hire a commercially-savvy, North America-based Business Development Director to own and maximise the company sales pipeline as well as generate new sales in the US territory.
This is a fully remote role that is considering candidates located across the USA!!!
The Role
As the first US-based hire for the organisation, the Business Development Director will be responsible for building and delivering on a successful pipeline across North America. The organisation already has an impressive trading history across the region so this 360 role is centred around identifying commercially outstanding opportunities, closing out deals with new customers, and developing greater working relationships with existing customers – it has a true new business and account management feel to it.
The Candidate
The successful International Business Development Director will have:
- A target driven approach and be enthusiastic / passionate about the industry
- A strong working knowledge of the North American Theme Park & Visitor Attractions industry
- A network of existing contacts relevant to the position
- The ability to drive sustainable growth by building and retaining long-standing and profitable client relationships
- Experience of selling attractions into Theme Parks & Visitor Attractions with a minimum order value of at least £250k
- A proven track record of sales into Theme Parks and or Visitor Attractions over a 5 year period
- The ability to generate new opportunities, manage the sales process and contracting with the client
- The ability to build sales revenue from existing and new accounts
- Experience of leading Trade Shows, and generating pre-show appointments
- Experience of using CRM systems to produce monthly progress reports
- Experience of producing professional proposals & presentations
- An “excellence first” mentality pursuing high standards in all aspects of business, customer and staff relations
- High business acumen and strategic agility
- The ability to negotiate skilfully and spot commercial opportunity
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and across functions and organisations
Location
The role will be based in North America and will predominately be remote. Travel to customer sites is essential, as well as periodic trips to the UK Head office.
Package
This remote, full-time opportunity will be paying $100,000 - $120,000 plus a generous bonus scheme and benefits.
