Organization: Hands & Feet Project, Inc.

About Us: Our mission is to be the hands and feet of Christ fighting for the cause of vulnerable children, their families, and their communities.

Position Overview: We seek talented and passionate individuals to join our Board of Directors as advisors and contribute to our organization's strategic direction and oversight. If accepted as a full voting member of the Board, you will play a crucial role in guiding our initiatives, ensuring financial sustainability, and advancing our mission.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with fellow board members to establish strategic goals and objectives for the organization.

• Provide oversight and accountability for financial management, budgeting, and fundraising efforts.

• Actively participate in board meetings, committee assignments, and organizational events.

• Advocate for the organization and support efforts to increase awareness and engagement.

• Assist in evaluating programs and initiatives to ensure alignment with our mission and values.

• Engage in networking and relationship-building activities to cultivate partnerships and support for our organization.

Qualifications:

• Commitment to the mission and values of Hands and Feet Project.

• Previous experience serving on a board of directors or in a leadership role within a non-profit organization is preferred but not required.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to think strategically and contribute innovative ideas.

• Willingness to dedicate time and effort to attend meetings, participate in discussions, and fulfill board responsibilities.

• Demonstrated passion for making a positive impact for the Kingdom.

Areas of Expertise Desired:

• Medical (doctor, surgeon, nurse, nutritionist, etc.)

• Legal (non-profit, employment law, etc.)

• Social Media (strategies for programming and messaging)

• Human Resources (onboarding, policies, organizational health)

• Donor Relations (analytics, retention, etc.)

• International Politics

• Accounting

Time Commitment: Board meetings occur quarterly, with monthly voluntary conference calls. Special projects and events may require more time. One in-person board meeting occurs the first week of December in Nashville, TN.
