Billing Operations Coordinator

A great UHY client is seeking a Billing Operations Coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of financial policies related to client billing.


The Billing Operations Coordinator role is a hybrid position with 3 days each week being in office. This is a client direct hire position.


Billing Operations Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Manage new customer requests to ensure all required approvals are included and information provided by the agency is correct.
  • Review and approved journal entries to support fee billing to clients
  • Generate monthly reconciliation documents for clients and agency personnel
  • Provide billing schedules to agency teams upon request
  • Run ad-hoc reports for agency teams
  • Manage system workflow and resolve billing issues as needed
  • Review month end AR aging and coordinate template responses for working capital reporting
  • Facilitate and support SOX Compliance testing as well as internal and external audits
  • Manage respective projects at all times
  • Build strong relationships with the agency teams


Billing Operations Coordinator Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting – or comparable job experience
  • 1 year experience within billing or finance
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional proficiency in Excel and Outlook
  • Strong understanding of general financial terminology
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects as well as daily operational deadlines
  • Ability to interpret contracts between agencies and clients with emphasis on billing/payment terms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional attitude and service orientation
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of the highest standards
  • Billing Supervisor Experience Required.
