JOB PURPOSE

Responsible to provide support for the client management team and their clients in the large-group book of business; collaborates with internal resources to ensure the client's needs are satisfied with responsibility for retaining existing business.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serves as the key service contact to identify, design, communicate and manage cost effective benefit solutions to minimize client risk; may operate as the lead service contact on specific accounts designated by the supervisor.
  • Supports the client's integrated and comprehensive health management strategy; works closely and builds relationships with client contacts at the Human Resources leadership and CFO level.
  • Provides direct administrative support as required for senior staff assigned to their collective book of business; responds to requests for assistance in a timely and collaborative manner.
  • Ensures the assigned service team maintains the existing client base services plus the up selling and cross selling of other Oswald Products/Services throughout all Oswald market segments.
  • Executes team in the preparation of carrier or client deliverables which includes scheduling meetings, obtaining carrier open enrollment information, and the proofing, printing, binding and distribution of presentations.
  • Supports the onboarding of new clients, which includes obtaining historical and current information for the building and cataloging of client files in the internal systems; ensures the accuracy of all data and the capturing of commissions.
  • Executes support activities to meet the client's specific needs, which include the creation of the annual service calendar, coordinating meeting times and agenda, and other deliverables to be completed by the established client deadline.
  • Creates employee open enrollment presentations, which includes member mailings, enrollment forms, PowerPoint presentations, and any applicable decision support tools.
  • Works with internal analytics, health management and compliance resources to ensure that client expectations are met throughout the course of the year.
  • Interfaces with both client and vendor to secure all account documents; builds files in the internal, shared computer systems and catalogues documents appropriately.
  • Responds to enrollment, billing, claims, and other administrative issues; ensures a complete solution is provided to the client's satisfaction; documents the details and outcomes of each support event.
  • Supports the team in client and carrier activities including the request of reports on a variety of financial and client-specific data; obtains documents for 5500s and plan-related documents.
  • Maintains and updates client information within the system of record; ensures all information is accurately and thoroughly entered into the system on a timely basis.
  • Captures all meeting notes and activities from client meetings and provides support for the delivery of follow-ups from the meeting.
  • Monitors the progress of meeting action items, initiates response from vendors or internal staff, and documents the results for feedback to the client.
  • Delivers compliance notifications and other materials.
  • Responsible for the creation of the client renewal presentation.
  • Conducts a peer review of all final documents.

EDUCATION AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Bachelor degree in Business Management from a four-year college or university and three to five years or more of related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Prior Experience Specifically Required

  • Prior experience in medical benefits and ancillary lines of coverage
  • Prior experience working for an insurance brokerage firm
  • Life, Health and Accident License required
