The Assistant Product Manager, Watches will be Cartier North America’s market referent for any watch product requests. They will maintain and create, where necessary, all operational watches tools used by the network (e.g. watches catalog, product news, sales tools). They will also assist the Product Manager in sales analysis, industry, and competitor news and in the creation of project presentations.

Responsibilities

Operational Product Management

  • Be Cartier North America’s market referent for any product information requests on watches (e.g. product sheets, collection storytelling, savoir-faire knowledge, technical specifications, etc.)
  • Maintain and develop network tools (e.g. watch catalog, product news, sales tools, etc.) to ensure they contain the most current product information.
  • Review and validate proposed price changes in terms of range offering and competition.
  • Collect and synthesize network feedback on product (range and novelties) to feed back to HQ for future product development needs.
  • Regularly review competition (including attending local events and exhibitions) and perform mystery shopping in order to share best practices and areas for opportunities for Cartier.

Product Strategy, Team Collaboration & Personal Development

  • Brainstorm in collaboration with senior managers and other stakeholders to set the category’s strategy and ambitions.
  • Monitor category sales, conduct ad-hoc analyses, and maintain an understanding of the key reasons behind the trends, offering tactical actions to improve performance as necessary.
  • Conduct range analysis to identify product gaps and share product brief suggestions with senior managers for discussion.
  • Work together with the Product Manager to create and regularly update project presentations.
  • Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with the broader cross-functional teams, both locally and with HQ, to ensure the implementation of the watches action plan.
  • Sign up for training on watches to improve general watch knowledge, also with a vision to train others.
  • Contributes to other ad-hoc projects as required.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE JOB/ROLE?

  • 2 to 3 years’ experience
  • High attention to detail
  • Organized, methodical in their approach to work.
  • Reliable, excellent ability to follow up.
  • Able to communicate in a clear and concise manner, both orally and in their work
  • Demonstrates initiative to improve or create tools based on network needs, is proactive in their approach to work.
  • Able to synthetize complex information into an easily digestible format.
  • Great at formatting presentations in PowerPoint, with the aim of being consistent and aligning to a given theme.
  • Analytical and good with Excel, able to extract key messages from large sets of data.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, prior experience maintaining healthy relationships with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates an appetite to learn more about watches in general.

At Richemont, We Craft the Future!

Expected base salary range: $75,000 to $85,000.

Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
