The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering the national DTC marketing strategy (retail & ecommerce) and leading best-in-class execution to drive brand awareness, conversion and SOM growth.


What you'll get to do:

Key Responsibilities and Objectives:

  • In partnership with heads of Retail and Ecommerce, lead development and execution of national DTC marketing strategy, proposing key initiatives and ensuring best in class 360 execution for new launches and evergreen animations, touching all aspects of consumer journey (including but not limited to: activations, campaign execution, events, partnerships, CRM, education, VM & POSM).
  • Lead marketing execution across retail partner channels (malls, neighbors, local regional initiatives), proposing elements to further the business
  • Support Sr Director and leadership in key decisions and planning through development of presentations, including roadmap, recaps, proposals and budget.
  • Act as a key player on marketing team, managing global feedbacks & request, local briefs, recaps, budget, forecasting, gifting, and other levers to ensure health of the business.


Operations:

  • Lead Trade initiatives across all Byredo Retail stores including 360 launches, event strategy, sampling, visual execution and promotion/TOA, ensuring consistent brand footprint across Retail/eRetail and tailoring strategies by door where relevant for success
  • Lead all New Store Opening marketing plans, including launch and sustained support, newsletter deployment, PR and/or media tracking success against Retail KPIs and leveraging learnings
  • Ideate new and innovative ways to drive traffic existing stores and ecommerce in partnership with Retail/eRetail
  • Suggest unique sampling and other tactics to drive excitement around new product launches to Retail teams
  • Support CRM tactics, and create new opportunities to engage existing customers
  • Help establish parameters of VICs and how to best engage and/or reward them
  • Establish business partners through Corporate Accounts and other relevant opportunities including Amenities
  • Brief and advocate for all Retail needs to Global & Studio, leading proposals, strategic presentations and recaps in relation to trade marketing
  • Deploy all Marketing communications to Retail teams


We would love to meet you if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5+ years of relevant work experience in Marketing, preferably within the niche/prestige fragrance and beauty industry
  • Strong knowledge of marketing best practices and industry trends
  • Understanding of Luxury Retail environment and regional uniqueness
  • Previous Retail salesperson experience ideal
  • Excellent organization, project management and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Retail & DTC experience, knowledge of eventing, client journey, education and logistics needed to execute a consistent elevated experience across region
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Attention to detail with a big picture mind set
  • Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint



Compensation: As required by the New York City salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position is between $75,000-$80,000 annually. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
