We're looking for creative, talented and self-motivated students of architecture who are curious and eager to learn and develop their skills while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

This internship will work under the supervision of a Licensed Architect and/or project leadership within our firm and will provide students with an opportunity to be a member of our multi-disciplinary team.

As an intern you will work with us for minimum of 3-6 months and be part of our firm. We will determine the internship duration at the time of an offer. This internship is meant to enrich your studies and we can only accept applicants who are currently a student.

Minimum Qualifications for the Position:

• At least 3 years of college/architecture school behind you
• Have a strong creative design portfolio.
• Have strong interpersonal communication, organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Proficiency with Rhino, Adobe Suite and Enscape is required. Proficiency with Grasshopper, REVIT, AutoCad, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office is preferred.
• Be able to take initiative in response to direction or instruction.
• Ability to effectively meet deadlines.
• Be able to work at least one-two full 8 hour days during a work week.
• Be able to be present in our New York City office
  
  

What will an Architectural Intern Do?

• Contribute to the design process by utilizing various software platforms, in addition to Revit, such as the Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, and Grasshopper.
• Produce architectural documentation.
• Produce graphics materials and images for presentations.
• Assist in research.
• Assist in ordering product samples.
• Attend in-office project team meetings.
• May visit project construction sites
• May assist in construction administration activities
• May perform other offices tasks as required.
  
  

Compensation

CetraRuddy's compensation reflects our commitment to offering fair wages that are benchmarked against market standards. The salary range for this position at the time of posting is $20 -$25 per hour. Final compensation will be commensurate with experience.
