The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking an Annual Giving Manager, Special Projects to join the Annual Giving team in the Office of Advancement. This position will manage marketing and solicitation efforts connected to the Benevolent Fund.This includes but is not limited to print pieces and digital campaigns. The Annual Giving Manager will work as an integral team member to assist with the development and execution of an Annual Giving strategy for society members.This individual will manage and execute Annual Giving stewardship strategies and donor outreach.
This position will report to the Director of Annual Giving and/or the Senior Director of Development
This position is hybrid-eligible following the probationary period
Key Duties and Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Benevolent Fund to develop and implement strategies for Blazer Against Hunger and Spring Campaign. Provide project reporting to key stakeholders
Analyze current donor data to identify new opportunities for appeals and stewardship activities
Create annual giving communications for Leaders & Loyals members, including acquisition and retention messaging
Handle special projects in collaboration with Annual Giving team members
Perform other duties as assigned
Annual Salary Range: $47,665-$50,000
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or Related Field
2 years of related experience
Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement

Project management skills and knowledge of software (Microsoft Office, Asana)
Ability to work independently
Organizational skills
Written and verbal communications skills
