We have an immediate opening for a Project Manager in Advertising Production! This position supports the Brand Communications Manager with the production of Kawasaki commercial advertising content including photography, video, and digital media. Requirements include managing agency staff in successful execution of pre-production planning, on-site production, and post-production activities through final content distribution.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage the annual advertising production calendar and agency staff to deliver successful execution of content creation for new model advertising campaigns.

  • Requiring strong execution of project management techniques to develop and maintain project plans with agency teams.
  • Identify dependencies and constraints related to campaign plans, requiring strong ability to clear constraints as required to maintain project timelines.
  • Consistently distribute production calendars to management and stakeholders, including executive level summaries of any/all updates.
  • Lead pre-production planning activities including: maintaining production timelines and distributing information to relevant stakeholders; ensuring said stakeholders are current with critical milestones; managing agency in selection and sourcing of location, wardrobe and talent aligned to overall advertising campaign strategy and positioning; host recurring logistics and planning meetings to ensure proper communication prior to production; and coordinate the preparation and staging of vehicles and props to be utilized during production.
  • Attend and serve as lead-Kawasaki representee on all advertising production shoots, confirming on-site approvals including but not limited to execution of established advertising compliance guidelines.
  • General support related to advertising production and direction.
  • Creative execution is performed as planned.
  • Identify opportunities for improved creative while on-site.
  • Manage post-production activities related to reviewing/proofing, routing, distributing, and publishing advertising content; providing context to stakeholders as required related to creative execution against established plans.
  • Support Brand Communications Manager in overall planning and strategy related to advertising production during the campaign planning process.
  • Support Brand Communication Manager in oversite of advertising production budget, reconciliation, and invoice processing/management.
  • Manage assets related to advertising production including proper documentation and inventory management of wardrobe, props and logistical support materials. Maintain a log of all items and their related locations.


Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent from four-year college is required; and minimum five years related experience and/or training in a marketing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to successfully prioritize and organize multiple, competing tasks.
  • Must be extremely detail and deadline oriented.
  • Must bring energy and enthusiasm to group or team efforts.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles preferred.
  • Solid knowledge and experience working with Microsoft's Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access software.
  • Approximate percentage of travel required: 30-50%.


Salary Range: $78,000.00 - $83,000.00
