SHIFT: Monday-Friday, Day shift

Our Admissions Screener will review and process applications for prospective residents and coordinate their admission into the facility. As a crucial piece in our facility's success, you will maintain contact with insurance representatives and Social Services to ensure a smooth transition. This role represents Weinberg to the community and will also market our services.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Screens, interviews, and evaluates prospective resident and their representatives to determine suitability and eligibility
  • Provides information to applicants and their families related to admissions
  • Coordinates prospective admissions with the committee, including the Director of Nursing, Administration, and Director of Admissions
  • Obtains and completes all necessary admission and readmission paperwork
  • Schedules and provides tours or makes arrangements for someone to be available for facility tours

V. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education:

AAS (Associates in Applied Sciences) Degree. Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.

License/Certification:

Valid, Current RN License (Preferred)

Valid, current Social Work License (Preferred)

Experience:

Six (6) months to One (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
