Our Admissions Screener will review and process applications for prospective residents and coordinate their admission into the facility. As a crucial piece in our facility's success, you will maintain contact with insurance representatives and Social Services to ensure a smooth transition. This role represents Weinberg to the community and will also market our services.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Screens, interviews, and evaluates prospective resident and their representatives to determine suitability and eligibility
Provides information to applicants and their families related to admissions
Coordinates prospective admissions with the committee, including the Director of Nursing, Administration, and Director of Admissions
Obtains and completes all necessary admission and readmission paperwork
Schedules and provides tours or makes arrangements for someone to be available for facility tours
V. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education:
AAS (Associates in Applied Sciences) Degree. Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
License/Certification:
Valid, Current RN License (Preferred)
Valid, current Social Work License (Preferred)
Experience:
Six (6) months to One (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
